Hotel Posada El Rey Sol, Ensenada

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the touristic area of Ensenada with everything within walking distance. The rooms, however, were quite outdated and in need of upgrades, particularly the plumbing. The dining experience was a bit inconvenient with having to collect vouchers every morning for breakfast, although the food itself was quite exquisite.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were on the small side and lacking certain amenities like a desk, dresser, or mini-fridge, they were close to the bar, which may or may not suit everyone's preference. The booking confusion over the room configuration was a bit frustrating, as we expected two rooms with queen beds each based on the information provided by customer service.

I had a delightful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, full of character, and had a double-sized, floor-to-ceiling window offering lovely views. The nearby traditional restaurant with various dining areas added to the charm. However, it seemed a bit abandoned in some areas, which was a shame given its potential. The central location was a huge plus, making it easy to access all the top attractions in Ensenada without the need for additional transportation.
